Serena Williams‘ ex-coach Patrick Mouratoglou draws a comparisom between Nole and Federer and Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer are two of the most popular tennis ball players players in the history of tennis. They have been very exceptional in the way the have handled and played the game.
They, along with Rafael Nadal, colloquially known as the ‘Big Three’, have taken the sport to an all-new level. Comparisons have always been made between them by the tennis pundits and the players themselves.
Recently, Serena Williams‘ ex-coach Patrick Mouratoglou explains through his Instagram the differences between Nole and Federer. And as much as that compared them to soccer greats, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
I was talking to a friend of mine and we were saying that Federer is Messi and Djokovic is Ronaldo. Why? Because Federer is a talent, and he just needs to feel what he is doing. While Djokovic is a hard worker who pays attention to every single detail.
Patrick Mouratoglou went ahead to say that Djokovic’s hunger to always stay at the top makes him equivalent to that of Ronaldo’s. A few days earlier, Nick Kyrgios too made a distinction between the two. He called out Nole as the best player ever while calling Federer the most beautiful thing to watch and the most talented.
