“Apparently you can get fired, released, leave, do what you want, come back to the company & you’re instantly forgiven these days.” — Drew McIntyre
This week’s Raw experienced some of the pivotal moments heading forward. The show was opened by Drew McIntyre, who delivered bold statements to kick off the night. The Warrior has been on ebbs and flows lately. In his adversities, McIntyre didn’t hold back from taking some massive shots at the Best in the World CM Punk.
McIntyre vented his annoyance after not being in the spotlight in the WWE. In all of this, Drew tried to affront the Second City Saint. The 38-year-old superstar pointed out the time when Punk was fired by WWE. He went on to say that superstars are easily forgiven these days, despite what they do.
CM Punk was fired by WWE because he walked out on the company in 2014. Later on, he slandered the company a number of times in his interview. However, he was signed to the company once again in 2023. McIntyre has alluded to the same incidents surrounding Punk and WWE to vent his frustration.
These shots might be the seeds for a mega feud between the Second City Saint and the Scottish Warrior in the future. It is turning out to be engrossing to see where the future of Drew.
